Arrow Electronics is expanding its portfolio to include solutions from Cohesity, a US-based provider of artificial intelligence-based data protection and management platforms. The distribution agreement signed for the Polish market means that local channel partners gain access to one of the more technologically advanced cybersecurity platforms available on the market today.

Responding to the complexity of IT environments

With the rise of distributed cloud environments, application-generated data and hybrid infrastructures, there is a growing demand for solutions that integrate backup, recovery and cyber security into a single ecosystem. This niche has been addressed by Cohesity for several years. The company has established itself as a leader with, among other things, a natively cloud-based architecture, support for the Zero Trust model and extensive AI-based features that support data analytics and security process automation.

Cohesity Data Cloud – consolidation and automation

Cohesity’s flagship solution, the Data Cloud platform, is the answer to the pain points of many organisations: fragmented data silos, high operational costs and a lack of a consistent approach to information security management. By integrating backup, archiving, disaster recovery and storage functions, the platform simplifies the management of IT environments. A significant advantage is the use of artificial intelligence to monitor and respond to incidents, as well as a central real-time management dashboard.

The partnership with Arrow could facilitate Cohesity’s entry into the competitive but still maturing market for data security solutions in Poland. For channel partners, this means access to technologies that can address the increasing frequency of ransomware attacks and growing regulatory requirements for data storage. Arrow brings not only a distribution infrastructure but also a consultancy background to the collaboration, which can make it easier for partners to identify and implement data security projects.
