Alliance of giants: Fujitsu with Nvidia bring physical AI to the B2B world

Fujitsu challenges the limitations of enterprise automation by presenting the first fruit of its collaboration with Nvidia – the Kozuchi Physical AI 1.0 framework designed for the secure handling of sensitive business processes. This technology, which combines the world of digital agents with physical robotics, aims to drastically reduce labor while maintaining full control over data flow.

Fujitsu is making a decisive move towards the integration of the digital and physical worlds with the unveiling of the Kozuchi Physical AI 1.0 framework. This is not just another overlay on language systems, but the first tangible result of a strategic alliance with Nvidia to solve one of the corporation’s biggest problems: the automation of processes that until now have required close human supervision due to the sensitivity of the data.

At the heart of the new solution is a multi-agent architecture. Instead of relying on a one-size-fits-all model, the Japanese technology giant is combining its Kozuchi platform with specialised agents based on its own Takane language model. Crucial to B2B customers here is the security architecture. The agents communicate with each other through a dedicated secure gateway, allowing complex workflows to be automated between departments without the risk of confidential information being leaked. Nvidia NIM microservices run in the operational background to provide version control and automatic updates – a critical element for the stability of enterprise environments.

Fujitsu does not rely solely on theory, presenting concrete data from its own backyard. An internal Proof of Concept implementation in the sales department showed a reduction in order confirmation workload by as much as 50 per cent. The company suggests that the technology is ready for implementation in demanding areas such as compliance, where precision and data security are paramount.

However, the company’s ambitions go beyond computer screens, as suggested by the ‘Physical AI’ member of the product name. Fujitsu is actively working to enable digital agents to interact with the real world by controlling physical robots. The long-term goal of the collaboration with Nvidia is to turn these agents into self-learning systems that will operate safely in customers’ physical spaces. This is an attempt to break through current technological limitations, where automation often ends where the physical world or complex interdepartmental processes begin.
