Grzegorz Latosiński, previously Country General Manager of Palo Alto Networks in Poland, takes up a new position – Country Director CEE, Poland. This promotion signals a strengthening of the company’s regional ambitions in Central and Eastern Europe.

Latosiński’s career is a textbook example of competence building at the intersection of telecommunications, IT and the public sector. He started in Orange Polska and Polkomtel, where he was responsible for sales in the area of new technologies. He then progressed through Cisco, Dell EMC and Oracle – always close to the largest institutional and public administration customers. At Asseco Systems and Asseco Poland, he developed infrastructure sales for energy and industry, and experience in the critical sector was later important in his approach to cyber security. In 2019, he joined Palo Alto Networks for the first time.

In 2021, he went to Google Cloud, where he was responsible for business development in the public sector in Poland – a time when the cloud started to enter government in earnest. Just a year later, he returned to Palo Alto Networks, a global leader in network security, XDR and Zero Trust solutions. In Poland, he was responsible for building the company’s position in the public sector and developing partnerships with integrators.

The promotion to Country Director CEE means: firstly – Palo Alto Networks is strengthening a region where demand for advanced security solutions is growing faster than the maturity of the organisation. Secondly – the company faces challenges in transforming its sales models, which increasingly require a subscription model and closer collaboration with local partners.

In a post on LinkedIn, Latosinski emphasised the role of the Polish team and announced that they are “going for more”. ” It gives me great pleasure to share the news that I am starting in my new position as Country Director CEE, Poland! A big thank you to Wojciech Gołębiowski for his faith, invaluable help and support of my development, I also thank the whole “Palo Alto Networks Polish Team” for the great results in the last years, it is also thanks to you that I am developing all the time. And I promise – we are going for more!!!” – wrote Latosinski.
