Sharp Europe, a leading provider of business technology products and services across Europe, has announced the appointment of Paul Yokoyama as Chief Executive of Sharp Europe.
Based in London, Sharp Europe serves customers as a technology partner in both the private and public sectors, offering a comprehensive portfolio of office printing equipment and AV systems, as well as collaboration platforms and IT services. Sharp Europe is part of Sharp Corporation, a global technology company employing over 39,000 people worldwide, specialising in innovative products for businesses and consumers.
In his new role, Paul will be responsible for growing Sharp’s business in Europe. He will focus on the further development of the Document Solutions division, the expansion of Sharp’s new, integrated DX division, which specialises in IT services, and the full integration of the portfolio of professional AV solutions.
Paul Yokoyama succeeds Joe Tomota, who, following a successful tenure, will take up a new position at Sharp as Global Head of Smart Business Solutions.
Paul Yokoyama has extensive international management experience spanning two decades at Sharp. He has worked in both Europe and Japan, where he held senior management positions and oversaw business strategy and development in the Middle East, Africa, Oceania and Asia. In his previous roles, Paul focused primarily on streamlining business operations, business planning and profitability.
