XTB has launched an AI-powered analytical assistant in Chile. The tool operates directly within the investment app and is designed to answer questions about the markets, support portfolio analysis and make it easier to compare assets. Once the roll-out in Chile is complete, the solution is set to be gradually introduced in other countries, initially outside Europe.

Direct integration with the app allows the information displayed to be tailored to the user’s profile, including their experience, risk appetite and approach to capital management. According to XTB, this is intended to lower the barrier to entry for people who wish to invest independently but do not feel confident analysing large amounts of data.

The company emphasises that the tool is primarily designed to facilitate access to financial knowledge. The assistant is intended to provide information in a format tailored to the user’s needs, but it does not replace independent risk assessment or investment decisions.

The new feature is part of a wider trend in the development of financial platforms, which are increasingly using artificial intelligence to simplify market analysis. The advantage of XTB’s solution is said to be its direct link to the app, meaning that responses can take into account the specific investor’s situation.

The AI-powered analytical chat is the latest innovation introduced by the company in 2026. Previously, XTB extended trading hours for European shares and ETFs, added the ability to manage individual positions within a portfolio, and launched options trading and a new version of its Investment Plans on selected markets.

The most important test for the new tool will be the quality of its responses, the timeliness of the data, and a clear distinction between information and investment recommendations. Personalisation may help less experienced users, but it does not eliminate the risk of misinterpreting data or investment losses.

XTB has not yet announced a launch date for the feature in Poland.
