The Polsat Plus Group is opting for internal succession. From 1 August, Anna Miller-Pytlak, the current Deputy CFO who has been with the group for 17 years, will take up the position of board member responsible for finance. She will replace Katarzyna Ostap-Tomann, who will remain in an advisory role until the end of September to hand over her responsibilities.
From 1 October, Ostap-Tomann will become CFO of Allegro, replacing Jonathan Eastick. She has over 25 years’ experience in finance and spent a decade heading up this area at one of the region’s largest media and telecoms groups. Eastick will remain at Allegro until the end of April 2027, which is intended to minimise the risks associated with the change in leadership.
Management continuity will be crucial for the Polsat Plus Group. Miller-Pytlak is familiar with the company’s reporting systems, financing processes and investment projects. This is significant ahead of the announced debt refinancing. At the end of the first quarter, the net debt-to-EBITDA ratio stood at 3.68, and at 4.14 when project financing is taken into account. Although the group has improved its net profit and cash flows, the conditions for raising capital will remain a significant test for the new finance team.
Allegro, meanwhile, is recruiting a manager with experience in financing a large, regulated organisation. The platform is growing rapidly, expanding its international operations and investing in logistics, financial services and artificial intelligence. In the first half of 2026, its revenue increased by 16.3 per cent, and adjusted EBITDA by 16.9 per cent.
These changes therefore do not merely represent a reshuffle of personnel. For Polsat, the priority will be secure refinancing, whilst for Allegro it will be maintaining profitable growth amidst an increasing scale of technological investment.
