The market for professional displays for digital creatives is becoming increasingly competitive, with manufacturers vying for the loyalty of graphic design and post-production studios. In this context, the latest accolade for BenQ ‘s PD2770U monitor, which won Best Professional Photo/Video Monitor at the TIPA World Awards 2026, is more than an industry success story. For the Taiwanese manufacturer, it is confirmation of the effectiveness of its long-term strategy based on premium technology, after the SW272U won a similar award in 2024. Winning the trophy twice in three years indicates the brand’s continued entrenchment in a segment that has traditionally been dominated by niche, specialised players.

BenQ’s success with the Creative Pro Series is based on directly addressing the operational concerns of modern work environments. The PD2770U offers a 27-inch 4K screen with wide coverage of key colour spaces (including Adobe RGB and 99% DCI-P3) and factory colour fidelity of Delta E ≤ 1.5. However, the key technological differentiator that is attracting the attention of business analysts is process automation. A built-in hardware calibrator eliminates the need to manually set device parameters, which, in conjunction with Display Management Software (DMS), enables mass remote synchronisation of screens according to set schedules.

From a business point of view, BenQ is clearly targeting an ecosystem of developers with strong ties to Apple devices by introducing USB-C connectors with support for Thunderbolt 3 and 4. This solution allows laptops to be powered by 96W and transfer data over a single cable. In addition, the integration of an RJ45 port facilitates network management of a fleet of monitors, directly optimising the cost of maintaining IT infrastructure in large advertising agencies and production studios.

The device’s suggested price on the Polish market, set at around 7200 PLN, clearly places the PD2770U in the high-end segment. BenQ is not trying to compete on price here, but on reducing downtime and automating creative work. In an era of increasing requirements for colour accuracy in print and video, investment in automated display ecosystems is becoming an operational standard for companies to determine business efficiency.
